[QUOTE="Skeightmachine, post: 67314, member: 544842"] my setup: Kenwood KDC-2019 deck, Kenwood KAC 629S 350W amp, and a RF 400W PunchZ 12". i got a good deal so i got em...also, the dealer was certified. anyways..i drove quite a bit to get this installed and for a week and a half everything was working great until it the sub just went out. i had my friends box in my trunk so i plugged it in and it worked, so i knew it was something wrong w/mine. i took the screws off my box, checked all the connections.. they were all good except for the 2 cables on the sub itself were touching... i separated them and presto, worked great. worked great for a few days that is. for 2 weeks, every cupple of days i had to open it up and jiggle the connections to get it to work. now that doesent seem to work anymore. i dont do anything, and the sub cuts in and out on its own. the amp is working properly (even when cool to the touch) , my friends sub works when plugged in. the battery fuse isnt blown, as is the one on the amp. the only problem i can think of is that when i first got it installed, i didnt know about the day of "warm up" my sub needed... i didnt warm up my sub, so it may be locking up.. any thoughts? if anyone has any suggestions, please let me hear them, im not about to drive an hour and a half to get an exchange if this is going to happen again.
