Sup. Never posted here before. Looks like a great site. I looked all over the net till I found here. Still have a few questions I cant find the answers to. I dont know a great deal but what I want to do is run a two channel amp 125RMS per channel at 4 Ohm with a sub on each channel. I am thinking of going with 4 Ohm SVC subs or Dual VC subs 4 Ohms each coil. I'm not sure which is the better setup. My understanding is I can go with the DVC subs and drop down to 2 Ohms for more power or up to 8 Ohms for less. I like the 2 Ohm idea but do not know if it will work on a 2 channel amp in this way. I've looked on the JL page and saw diagrams for dropping down two 2 Ohms (or whatecver you want)with a DVC Sub(s) but all the diagarms look like they are for Single Channel Amps. I am not wanting to bridge my amp but run on sub on each channel. SVC or DVC. will the DVC one on each channel at 2 ohm work. Amp is supposed to be 2 ohm Stable. Would this setup still be considered 2 ohm. Also I know why 2 ohm is better but I dont know what the Drawbacks are. More Distortion? ECT. Hope I asked my questions right and thanks for any thoughts or help.
