[QUOTE="defdaboss, post: 6690041, member: 601497"] the car was running on low power. but i doubt this would cause it to stop functionin. the solo X is in a pro bass box ($180 bucks) and everything install professionally. it been couple days later the music just shut off. no bass except for the mids and high. check the amp and the light is still blue. not red (protection mode). i check the radio the setting seem all good. all the wires are brand new. the foam on the subwoofer is not blown. but i decided to open it up and check if maybe the wires inside the box came loose? check and it's fine till i notice something that wasnt there before. the inner magnet of the subwoofer has white powder in it. inside the coil use to be completely black but now it has some fade inside of beige and black. do i just replace the coil or is my magnet shot? or is this normal and my problem is something else?
