We got the block cleaned as well as the heads cleaned (hot tanked and steel blasted) for $70. The guy is pretty cool, said he did a quick flux and didn't see anything serious. Didn't pay for it so I don't mind it being a quickey Yea, replacement parts may be a PITA, but I think we can do it. PAW has a lot of stuff, and there are a few big hemi guys around here that I talk to. I did the math the other day and if we get it punched 60 then I think we'll have ourselves a 406. Has a standard bore of 4.000 (same as sbc) so we should be able to find pistons easily. I would love to give er the bottle, but I'm not sure if it'll be in the cards in the early stages. The blower is pretty big for us, especially being our first drag build. And with a blown 400+ ci motor built how I want it, I think we can surpass 600lb-ft on race gas without the bottle .
