Message: <blockquote data-quote="xtremekustomz" data-source="post: 3033347" data-attributes="member: 569952"><p>Unless you really want 5.1 you don't need a center channel to have a center image.  My truck has no center channel but you would swear there is one there.  Another thing, to have true 5.1 you will need a processor and an optical cable from your dvd to your processor.  Also there are only a handful of cd's that are recorded in 5.1.  Personally all a center channel does is narrow the sound stage in my opinion.  Just a waste of money on another set of cables, speaker, and amp.  A good set of components in kick panels aimed correctly with some time alignment will work wonders.</p></blockquote><p></p>
