Interesting thing about Ample Audio is that the main company is located about 5 minutes from my house in Buena Park. I met the owner directly and looked at the main warehouse. He is very very friendly and it appears that this company only had 2 people in the office at the time that I called.
I just installed 2 brand new Ample Audio amps in the 4 Runner this morning. The EXA 3000DX and EXA 500. The EXA 3000DX is rated at 1500 watts x 1 @ 1 ohm, 1200 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms and 800 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms. The EXA 500 is 60 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms and 90 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms. The gains are put in places where I can reach them and they look much much better than my 2 Fosgate amps. Ample Audio is a small company that makes really excellent amps and other car audio components. Sound wise they are much much cleaner than Fosgate. Interesting thing about Ample Audio is that the main company is located about 5 minutes from my house in Buena Park. I met the owner directly and looked at the main warehouse. He is very very friendly and it appears that this company only had 2 people in the office at the time that I called. The owner himself sold me both EXA amps brand new for $550 out the door with the full warranty. The EXA 3000DX has a different type of bass than the RF T1500-1BD. Hits harder. I am through with Rockford Fosgate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the end of the month those Fosgate amps come out of the 300ZX.
