So i'm looking at the following components to install underneath my false floor of my XC60 and i have some questions for the experts. Here are the parts: Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8" subwoofer Max. Music Power (Nominal) 600 W (150 W) Frequency Response 20 Hz to 200 Hz Sensitivity (IN CAR, INPUT: 1W) 86 dB Impedance Dual 2 Ω Recommended Enclosure 0.15 - 0.50 cu. ft. or Free Air Pioneer UD-SW200D downfiring enclosure made for the TS-SW2002D2 and happens to fit perfectly under the false floor Sealed 5/8" MDF Construction Black Carpet Exterior Internal Volume: 0.15 cu. ft. External Dimensions (WxDxH): 11-3/4x9-1/4"x5-1/2" Now the questions: The enclosure is tiny! only .15 cu ft, but it was designed by pioneer for this sub. Now the subwoofer is rated for an enclosure of .15 to .50 cu ft. I assume i will benefit by stuffing the enclosure with polyfill, but how much is good? Also the sub doesn't specify if it can be ported, but is it something i should consider for such a small enclosure? If so what size port and how long would be best to get the most out of this small space?
