[QUOTE="3.5Max6spd, post: 1882332, member: 555373"] Hard to say what it is. But I hope its someone you know that did that install for you. My brother works at Best Buy, and I've been told they many a times have fried speakers on purpose that people bring to them- they, as well as many shops hate when you bring product to them to install. They want you to purchase their inhouse brands because they make additional commission on it. This is one of the main reasons why theres anomosity associated with Circuit City/Best Buy and other chain store installation practices. So for one they made their money on the install already. Next time you come in, they give you the 'the speakers were damaged' story, and they hose you for new components and to install them. I hate to sound so 'conspiracy theory', but seriously the people that work there are under alot of pressure and have meetings on the regular and are pressured to sell, sell, sell and move product.
