Hi everyone, I have a Blaupunkt Monte Carlo with its aux in section connected to a Sirius car dock with a Sportster 5. I have no problems with alternator whine, ticks, pops, or that stuff. The problem I have is that when I push the male 1/8" plug into the "line out" of the dock all the way in, the sound from the Sportster sounds all out of phase and highly "digitized" I'd guess you'd call it. If I back the plug out a tiny bit, that all goes away and the sound is clear, but there is no stereo separation, everything sounds mono. I am using a stereo male 1/8 plug to female rca cable, the rca's plugging into the Blaupunkt's male aux in rca's. I've switched my car dock for my home dock and the line out does the same weird digitizing effect also, when the 1/8 jack is fully inserted. In my home the line out to my stereo system sounds fine with good stereo separation. Any ideas?
