sign the petition AGAINST making "boom" cars illegal

I signed. Jeez looks like a real bunch of winners who signed also, if you are going to sign, try and make it somewhat professional, otherwise you just make people involved in car audio look like ******** even moreso than they think we are.

I hate guys that all what they care about , is how their system sounds outside the car.

I have a 12” sub that is very load inside , but you can barely hear it outside.

Beyond me why you need something that shakes the street ……

Must be only one reason , to “impress” the people. Hate that.

Noise is bad , just like any other pollution .

signed. i cant beleive that the people who are trying to ban this could only come up with names like "BOOM CAR" and "TERROR MACHINE" to describe our cars. that shows some high levels of thinking right there

While I agree with the petition, I'm not going to sign it. This actually reminds me of something I noticed yesterday while watching the local news.

There was a LARGE fight in the cafeteria at a high school, and dozens were arrested. The police used a rather high amount of force, and sprayed pepper spray blindly into crowds of innocent school children.

They interviewed some of the kids, and all they had to say were things like "What the **** is this **** man ? **** COPS man, dey ****in everythin up! Dey tryin to hit us wit pepper spray an ****! **** dat!". The kids had good intentions, and a reason to complain. Yet, they made their voice MUCH less likely to be heard by cursing so much, and using inner-city "street slang", so to speak.

Anyways, it's sort of like what is happening here. If you want to start a petition, at least be able to make it look semi-professional. Proper grammar and spelling shouldn't be optional, they should be required.

Thanks for making the car audio community look even worse. The petition is merely backing up the complaintants point of view.

I wouldn't support either petition. no matter how much good will or intent the people try to express on this petition, I still think the way we feel is not a parameter of the population, but a statistic of a small sample of us. but hey, that's what laws are made for...because of the group of people that break it and ruin it for all of us.

WARNING: IF YOU ARE AGAINST SO CALLED "BOOM CARS,DO NOT SIGN THIS OR E MAIL US OR YOUR E MAIL ADDRESS WILL BECOME PUBLIC!If you are interested in seeing some waht these anti boom car people are saying about us,Check out a few of these websites......http://members.aol.com/mpwright9/noise.html This guy has no clue! He is a rambling moron that has nothing better to do with his spare time...Here is another....http://nobooms.freeservers.com/

This website speaks about various ********.There is also a petition against boom cars here...Check it out.... We need to fight against these laws from happening...
lol. to me, this "petition" is a joke.

I agree with the petition attempting to get stiffer laws and punishments.

So I won't sign it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I dont think that either side is going to go anywhere here. the laws on noise polutions are going to stay the same. they could never ban caraudio equipment there are to many businesses and peoples jobs that depend on it.

I'm not going to sign the car audio one because it doesn't look that good. However, the anti-car audio one isn't going to stand. They want to ban all sub woofers, preamps, restrict amplifiers, only 1 car battery, etc.. There are restrictions already in california at least. Cops can give tickets if noise is heard from 2-3 cars away. Anyways, this won't pass. I wouldn't worry about it.

they'll be ok just giving tickets for noise pollution, they wont ban any products

I dont care for pricks that boom boom at any time of the day while my newborn sleeps, and as a business owner I dont care for it in business/residential areas either, sorry

Did I even mention anything at all about "harleys, 'choppers' " ? Don't recall ever saying anything about them. So I don't know why that was brought up.

Oh, and don't hope I'm against anything.
