well, crapola..... I figure that most of you knew it was bound to happen. I for one didn't see it coming quite this quick, and hoped that it wouldn't at all. While Hifonics isn't bad gear for the money there's definitely better to be had for only a little more. I'm at the point now of where do I stop. I recently had one of my Brutus subs motor come apart, clamp the voice coil and kill it. A call to Maxxsonics and I discover there's no service dept. for any of their products, no repairs. Now my amps are acting weird and my Atlas Components are on the fritz so....... GO TO HE-L-L Hifonics. I'm on the look out for stuff for a new system and I'd like to run my current ideas accross you guys for better or worse opinions. I'm wanting to go with a pair of FI Q12's, 2.5 cubes each @ 33Hz as recommended by FI ($244 each), powered by a pair of JBL GTO14001's ($380 each). I'm going to fiber in two sets of Image Dynamics CTX65CS components ($180 each) into the front doors powered by a JBL PX300.4 ($320), the one that gives that oddball 123.5 WRMS x 4 not the 75 x 4 version. I'm going for a SQ balanced daily driver, so you guys think I'll have better luck with this setup? Anyone have any better suggestions for around the same amount of money?
