Hey, I just finished the design for my 12" RE SEXXX. It will reside in a slot-ported box(2.5 subic feet) tuned to 30hz. I have a question regarding how to seal the wood. I know that you are supposed to use a sillicone based sealant such as Liquid Nails, but I don't know how to seal the final piece of wood. I plan to build the box starting with the bottom first, adding the sides second and the port third. If i finish by gluing the top piece of wood last, how am I supposed to seal it? Even if i stick the caulker into the subwoofer hole, I can't reach behind the port wall. How do you guys deal with this situation? Also, I plan on purchasing a JBL GTO1201.1 amplifier to power this subwoofer. The amp does not come with a subsonic filter. I plan on purchasing Harrison Labs' F-Mods, however I don't know which one to get. The link below offers a list of F-Mods. I have no idea which one to buy. Thanks. http://www.thezeb.com/HarrisonLabs.aspx?Results=1&CategoryID=2&manufacturer=17 My box will be tuned to 30hz.
