OK This is going to be a little lengthy, but if anyone can give me a good start it would be MUCH appreciated. I recently installed a new system in my 03 f-150 lariat supercrew. Me and a buddy installed it. I absolutely have no idea on where to start with the settings. Especially all the frequencies on the crossover. IDK what high pass/ full range and all that means. Here is what i got: High amp: sonicelectronix.com/item_24271_Power-Acoustik-CPT4-1400.html Crossover: sonicelectronix.com/item_13514_Clarion-MCD360.html Highs front and rear: sonicelectronix. com/item_11270_Pioneer-TS-D6802R.html Head Unit: (BTW, I love this thing. A very big step up from previous JVC double din!) sonicelectronix.com/item_32828_Pioneer-AVH-P4300DVD.html BTW, is this high amp and the crossover atleast decent? I also have a Memphis 10'' sub in an enclosed box under the seat powered by a memphis amp. Not sure on exact models of those, they have been in my truck for a while. I think the amp is like 300 watts give or take. I have no idea on where to set anything. My buddy set the equalizer on the HU and it sounded a lot better after that. If someone could literally look at the pic on the crossover and tell me where to atleast start setting everything, that would be SO HELPFUL. high or full range on highs amp? x1 or x20 on the crossover? highpass filter on HU? i think it goes like 50 something hz to 100 something hz, etc. what about the gains on both amps? Sorry for the extrememly long first post. Im going out on a limb here, audio shops want 65 bucks an hour to set all this right. I will pay if have to, but wanted to try here first. I spent alot of money on this setup and want it to sound as good as possible. Thanks! Trying to post links in next post, it wont let me post them, sorry!
