[QUOTE="opfreak, post: 1125621, member: 560436"] didn't order through this group code, but thinking of getting some more. no offense to ant because he knows his tuf, but heres what i got 40 ft of damplier. I want more AWESOME STUFF 5 gallon bucket of spectrum i started with my trunk, and since i was impaitent and the damplifer took a longer time to get here i layed down a nice thick coat of spectrum in my trunk. didn't do the lid yet, because i want eveything to look hidding and stock, so have to decide what i want to do with the lid. my car is a 2dr 2001 potianc sunfire. and the trunk is very thin, my goal was to elemenat road noise. No sub yet. anyways i put down a really think coat , i think i probably used 2 ! 2.5 gallons its almost a 1/4 inch thick, so i got in my car and really, honestly. no really WOW difference. so i go for a drive about 100 miles on the highway. my head unit is a pioneer p8mp set at 60 watt (27w rms output) and i have these baby 4x6 i think like 1 watt rms speakers in the door some cheap kenwoods in the back. (it was all just to upgrade stock, them paper speakers ****). so back to my story. with just the trunk done in about 2 gallons of spectrum, i really didn't notice a big difference right away. so i go for my drive, and since my head unit was just reset, fade was set to 0/0. i start to notice my back is much louder then my front. to the point of annoying me. so i setup my unit again, and set the fade to 2 ticks foward which is what it was before. basically setup the unit just like it was. drive a bit more, and keep thinking ****, my rear is still freakin LOUD. so i pump up the fronts to now be faded at like 5 ticks. and finally get some balance back. I like my fill, sue me. i'm big, 6'1 in a sunfire, my head is almot close to the rear then front. so now with out even realizing it, my rear got 'quiter' and 'louder' by whatever amount 3 extra ticks foward did. bad thing is now ANT, that my little 4x6 pioneers blew, at least the tweeter in one of them. all because of your quiter front. my trunk bed now is like sold, you whack it and hear no ringing, and that was my goal. so some time passes, i get my damplifer. nice stuff, wish it had a label on the back so i could line my trunk and show of my ss. anyway did my rear deck lead, to do away with any rattles from the 6x9's. then laid the damplifer right back on top of the spectrum... i know bad ME. and then worked on my doors. While i love the stuff, CRAp, must have taken a good 2-3 hours a door to get a good layer down and seal up most holes. i have like 2 sheets left, after both doors and the trunk. the other 2.5 gallons of spectrum good under the front wheel wells when i get a chance to take them apart. balance in my car has me sligtly restored, but really my trunk got such a big boost in sound that its sad. still not sure if i should lay down some spectrum on the doors, but there sealed pretty good right not and even my g/f can do the knunkle test on the doors. the thing that really TICKS me off after all this. is that i have a loss heat sheild under the car, before with the random white noise, i could barrly hear it. now that sharp rasp comes straing through the floor under me. poopy. anyways. GREAT stuff. GREAT support, i love the fact i was able to call Ant, waste his time, his wife g/f in the background was probably a little ticked about him wasting her time. but just shows this guy has a small business and is willing to bend over backwards to make a buck (all the best wishes to you, one day hope i have that much energy when i start a business) but not only to make a buck, but go through what needs to be done, what works, and even not recommend some of his own product that i was looking at. i hope to be ordering a few more feet of stuff for my trunk lid, not sure yet what. Ant if you read this let me know. I'm putting in a 10 inch sub, 400watts rms, and want as close to 0 rattles from that lid. hope that helps you guys that are on the fence out. i'll probably clean this up later, but any questions pm me. thanks.
