So, first off, I'm new here. Hi. I drive an 02 Focus hatch. Total base model- 5 speed, manual windows and doors, etc. It's ungodly loud inside this thing. When I started thinking about doing audio upgrades (Kenwood HU, Boston SX85 fronts, Infinity Basslink) I knew I would need to do some sound and vibration deadening. I didn't know it would be this complicated, though. Anybody got any opinions on the products sold at Sound Deadener Showdown? The guy seems like he knows his stuff and his prices are reasonable. I was planning to use Thermwell type stuff and some Polyfil, but what I read on the SDS website made me change my mind. Now I'm def thinking about getting some of his products. Is it worth the money? Anybody ever used this, and how well does it work compared to Dynamat or the 'cheap stuff'? Thanks!
