I have mild Scoliosis, first found out in middle school when they had people test the whole school, but I have had it for years prior to that not knowing what the deal was. I noticed that the side of the curvature on my back has more muscle and if you run your finger down my back, you can feel the curve. I have been having problems with my right foot and leg and not to long ago when I went to the doctor, she explained to me that because of the Scoliosis my left leg is longer than my right leg about .5 to a full inch. She told me that this could have been treated when I was little, but I am 27 now and she said the only option would be surgery where they straighten my spine and place a rod back there to keep it that way. When she told me this I was kinda pissed at my parents for not picking up on this problem when I was younger. Now there are days when I come home and the right side of my back is killing me and nothing helps remedy the pain and my right foot hurts because its taking an unbalanced load. Im not to big on the idea of someone cutting my back open and playing with my spine, but if it will get rid of this pain Im all in. Hope all you guys with this problem get taken care of, I literally feel your pain.
