ok basically its a 99 vette for 6000. seems fishy read through and tell me if it seems legit or not. i found this on a legitimate car site.

First of all i want to tell you that the car is in US,Honolulu and the car has a clear title.This car is like new, STATE OF THE ART, completely working, no scratches, no dents, never been abused,always well taken care of. I want to tell you that i have some problems with the phone. For some reasons when I receive a call, the fax machine is conecting in the same time.

Here's how the deal will take place... We will use InternationalCargo (http://www.International-Cargo.net) for the shipping and SafePay Solution to manage the payment.

Here's how it works: The car is already in they'r custody, they will e-mail you the transport information and tracking# so you can see that the vehicle is really being shipped. After you receive this info, you will have to make a $2,500 US deposit to one of SafePay Solution's agents(NOT to me) so I can be sure that you are serious about buying and I am not shipping the car for nothing. The agent will keep the money in a trust fund until you receive the car and are sattisfied with it. You will have 7 days to inspect and test drive it upon arrival with no obligation to buy. I realise that is a cheap price for such a product but my special situation makes me do things that i would't do in normal circumstances and belive me it is not easy at all for me to sell a thing which was one of my dreams during last years.I want to tell you that i have some problems with the phone. Do you have or can you get pictures verifying the car's current physical location and a phone number for the people currently in possession of it? (Honolulu is still in the US so calling it would be a simple long-distance call) You know - blah blah blah.

It could be legit...but ya know, "if it sounds to good to be tr..." and all that.

I'd want a helluva lot more info before I dedicated any funds to it...

Also, tell him to take a picture with a peice of paper on the car, that says your name on it. Just to verify that he actually has the car.

I guarentee that he wouldnt talk on the phone, just because he wouldnt be able to lie fast enough.

6k for a vett is too cheap. Dont do it.

The guy that painted my car bought a 'Vette...do not remember the exact year.....82 or 83, maybe? The first year they put that dog of a small-block, CrossFire injection motor in them...factory T-tops, all leather, all power, but with a 4-speed manual for under $5K once. Everything in the car was top shelf....except it needed painted in a baaaaad way.
