Came home from wrk at 10a.m this morning and get home and I see a package at my door step. It was a massive box so I knew what it was.. Started to sound like a perfect story right? Well let me mention it was raining hard..... I have no carport so it was sitting right in the rain. No trash bag no newspaper no nothing just soaked cardboard. As I picked package up of course the bottom gives out (i did not drop the sub thank god) get it inside pissed as all hell. I just knew it was gonna be just soaked with water. I remove the remaing card board(the little that was left)and to my suprise and i guess my good luck the manf had wrapped the sub in very thick plastic so it was saved. Nonetheless UPS is getting a call. Now to the good stuff the pics>

Its a Pierce Audio 2011 WMD2 12" d2. Customized with 4 9.75 spiders double spaced, round wire aluminum coil 8 layer, high roll surround. It will see power from my aq2200d.

Well a stock one is 300 shipped but the extra spider was I want to say 20 -25 extra. Aluminum coils were an extra 40. So total 360 to my door ready to take 2000+ and laugh.. I was pleased with their service shipped when they said they were going to. Answered every call or PM I made. Some people hate on them cause in their past they kind of overstated there tru power handling. But they got wise and got rid of the 1 single hard spider and got with the program and now they use 3 standard. So I mean company’s can learn from their mistakes and get better and some don’t. I am hoping they learned their lesson and have moved on.

BHS they have a different surround option for people wanting a fs 25. I picked the tall roll as its has a good low fs 33 plus much more throw.

If thats the case then my invoice is wrong as it clearly shows I upgraded to 9.75" spiders and I was charged for it..... States Custom order - 9.75" x 3" Linear Roll Medium Stiffness. I will call Paul to verify but I know what I ordered and what I paid for so it better be what I asked for. Only thing I wish I would have got direct leads but did not think bout that when I was ordering.

Matt - Soon enough it will be ready to go hell you will prob be the first to hear it as I will be needing a lil help from you before I install it. I bet you would have keep it dry LOL. Thing is wife was in the house the whole time they didnt knock or nothing just dropped and ran...

Yea u can get one in d4 will cost like 20-30 extra. Well that was the price they quoted me for d1.4 coils as I wanted to wire it up to a .75ohm load but I decided to go with just d2's as I didnt wanna take a chance on frying amp. Plus the 1.4's would have to be a special order and would have took them longer to get sub to me as they would have to wait for them to come in.

Skip the home page and go to the forum. They have not updated there home page to show the new drivers. They still have the 2009 drivers listed instead of the 2011's. Or just PM P. Pierce and get all the specs of the new drivers which is what I did as the specs for the 2011's are scatterd all over the forum. Good guys to deal with.
