Message: <blockquote data-quote="mutt_hollon" data-source="post: 2481953" data-attributes="member: 570514">I have one 12" L7 in my s-10 ext. cab and i have it firing up with port up...my old box had it firing the sub foward and the port out the left side and it did not sound half as loud as my new one firing up. i have mine tuned at 32 hz and i love it. like i said its a single 12 L7 and it may not sound good with 2 R's but i know in my s-10 firing both subs and port up was ALOT better. i have some roof flex now the with the open cab i thing it helps....nothing to block the sound.....and i would make a chambered box.....that way if one sub goes out you dont loose the other one....pluse i think it sounds better.....Hope this helps...</blockquote>
