Hello, I'm not in the know whatsoever when it comes to car audio. I just bought a 97 Audi. The kid I bought if from had a large system in it. In negotiating the purchase price, he ended up removing 2 10" MTX 8000 series subs in a slit port enclosure and a phoenix gold titanium subwoofer amp (I'm pulling this info off of his original ad, trust me I don't know what I'm talking about). What remains is a nice Alpine IPod deck, mb quart q mid range speaker components in the front doors, and an eclipse mid amp. All the wiring is still there from the removed pieces, just missing the pieces. Obviously the sound is different from what it was before he took the subs out. It sounded incredible before, and sounds good now but with no bass at all. I'm looking to take advantage of what I have. I'm guessing I need bass. It doesn't seem like it gets overly loud right now. On a budget, what do you suggest I add to get the most out of what I have? Thanks, hopefully I've made some sense to some of you.
