In my off time I like to rebuild old audio tube amps so I shouldn't have any problem taking on this project. I started by picking up a Nakamichi cd - 45 cd player not a bunch of fancy options but from what I have read great sound quality. Then I thought speakers factory has 6.5 inch component setup in front and 6.5 inch 2 ways in rear so I looked and read reviews and choose to replace the factory speakers all round with Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5 component speakers. Then I thought subwoofers- now I listen to all kinds of stuff from Hip hop to R&b and JAzz im not trying to break sound records but like I said I do like my music tight so of course im looking for bass thats deep, powerful and still very musical. Im tring to preseve the factory look of everything but I found that JL Audio has some nice Stealth enclosures that work for my particular car. They have 10 inch drivers w6 series and the reviews looked good thats what I went for. Finally power! searched high and low for a single amp that fill my power needs for this system and found a taker in the Memphis Belle from Memphis Audio which was 75w x 4 class AB for the front and rear channels and 1000 w class d for the sub. Then I thought maybe im going to need a cap for reserve power demands so i bought a 2 farad cap Now all this seems reasonable to me and Im ready to go to the installer and get it all put in (now its in my guest room) - did i do the right thing should I go another route start slower choose different components . Any suggestions I welcome. Sorry about this being so long.

[QUOTE="darrinp, post: 59513, member: 544517"] Im tired of my factory set and I want to build something great, so I did what I usually do when faced with a challenge and began doing the reseach . Let me also say that I love music but I got a thing about the quality having to be tight. I have an 96 Infinity I30t with the factory bose cd joint and I told myself no problem I will jump right in.
