Place the speaker in a hole cut in a cardboard box. Remove the old surround, and source a new surround from Parts Express or another audio vendor. Use a pure silicone adhesive caulk to attach it, and use masking tape to hold it in place until it cures. I'm not sure how bad you want to keep the speakers, but this is one option.
