anyone have experience with this amp? long story short I previously had an audio control lc6.1200 I purchased from Crutchfield I was having issues with from day one. On my second replacement amp channel 2 went dead after a week. Done with audio control far as i'm concerned. Crutchfield has been great through my issues sending replacements etc. Having owned a couple of Rockford amps before without issues. Still using a prime 600.5 on another system that's at least 5 years old. Had a hafler 4 ch in the early 90s. So decided rf would be the safe way to go. I quickly looked over the amps they had. The t1000 has very similar out put of the ac. So it'll be shipped out Tuesday. after getting off the phone with them I went and looked for reviews and really not coming up with very many. my concerns with this amp is it's tiny for one. Being old school not what I am used to lol. There are no RCA female ports. Connects using a harness same for speaker wire. I am using nvx 4 gage power and ground wires. I question if i'll be able to use as the hook up looks small. It has no out board fuses. Not a real concern since I've never blown an amp fuse. this amp is just throwing me off as it's not typically what I am used to seeing on a higher powered amplifier. I understand that it is small and why it has the hook ups like it has. I do like that it has clip lights on the amp and remote. The power output is exactly what I need. I keep my car clean and don't drive down gravel roads so im not concerned with the fans ******* dust into it. Just wondering if this is a good amp or do I need to call Crutchfield before they ship it out.
