If your music collection has been hand picked for excellent dynamic range, which most people don't do, then maybe you would hear a difference if you doubled or tripled the power. That extra power is for transient peaks. Pop music has no peaks, it's all loud, so the extra power would go to waste.</p></blockquote><p></p>
