I just bought an 07 Avalanche and want to put a pair of subs underneath the backseat. I saw on the Soundsplinter website that from the bottom of the magnet to the top of the basket is 6 or so inches. How much further past the basket does the stripping of the sub go? Don't know the official term for it (mind is drawings a blank). Reason being that I have about 7 inches to work with from the carpet to the bottom of the seat and am wondering if I will be able to stick an RL-i8 underneat there or if there is another sub I have to use.
