I was just wondering what possesses ricers to put those gigantic, oversized "wings" on their cars. Do they think that it serves a purpose? Or is it just another fad that will (hopefully) die out? Well I agree to some point that oversized wings do look ridiculous but we arent the only ones with wings. I HAVE SEEN THE MOST IDIOTIC wing on a FORD PICKUP. Now thats just retarded. The wing im putting on my Toyota tercel looks like a factory wing nothing flashy just something to spruce it up a bit. And to add weight to my trunk lid.

Wings can make you turn faster or produce less drag and make you go faster, the oversized wings Im talking HUGE MOFO's are whats stupid. They look nice on Porche but who can afford one of those.

I can understand that, but what's with these double-stacked aluminum wings that they buy out of Jeg's? i mean geez, they slow the car down more than they provide downforce. I agree that sometimes a spoiler can add to the looks of a car, but not those fast and the furious **** wings. I just watched F&F and realized the spoiler on that orange supra is taller than the car, WTF?!

well they are supposed to be for aerodynamics, to keep the car down (low) i believe. But a lot of ppl do it for aesthetics, and a lot of ppl do it cuz they are freaking morons who think it looks coo to put a 4 ft high wing in the back.
