Hi everyone, I realize this is a pretty general question, but I was wanting to know what people would recommend for me to replace my PDX-5. Every since I put it in to replace my old MRV-F..something, the sub just doesn't sound right. It's like it the initial hit is there, but it just doesn't have the low sound to it. So here's what I have to work with: Focal 165VR's up front Bravox coax in rear JBL GTO804 in the back. 4 gauge power/ground And of course, money does matter. I don't want to spend over $400, and the lower the better. I'm not an audiophile, but I do like my stuff to sound nice. Would also consider a separate 4channel and mono block, if that's the right way to go. Thoughts?
