I'm going to be buying my neighbors 94' civic coupe. Not sure what model. Assuming DX. Anyway, the car has minor mods. Lowered, rims, full greddy exhaust. The guy took out the power steering, and said it gives the car a little power boost. Is this true? I also read in an issue of Import Tuner that they took out the PS of an Integra LS they were building for drag/show. So that made me somewhat belive the fact that removing PS improves something. Does it just improve handeling when going down a straight line, or does it infact give some sort of HP gain? The car is incredibly hard to steer, but im sure ill get used to it. He did. He drove it daily. This kid didnt do any of the mods. He bought it used for 2,000 and it had everything on it that i mentioned. He joined the airforce, and knowing i wanted the car, gave me a great deal. 800.00 and its mine. So whatsup with this PS shit?
