My Sony head unit is several years old and has been showing its age lately. My audio output has been intermittent, and has now completely quit. I brought it to the audio shop that installed my amp, subs, and speakers. They jumped the 12V to the remote wire on the amp, which immediately produced audio. They said the remote circuit in the head unit went out. I couldn't find anything online related to this issue. Is there a temporary fix until I can get a new head unit installed (which will probably be about a month from now)? Thanks in advance.
