Message: <blockquote data-quote="helotaxi" data-source="post: 3625481" data-attributes="member: 550915"><p>Gain at 0V is all the way up.  Assuming that the remote is a remote gain and not a bass boost control, set your gain with a DMM with the remote all the way up.  That is your max volume and it will keep you from overdriving things.  You can then turn it down from there with the remote.  that is the intended function of such remotes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
