[QUOTE="brian84corvette, post: 8231215, member: 586635"] i fought awfull rattles with the interior plastic trim pannels in my old 84 corvette. ended up using sound deadner material to cover each overlap of where one piece meets another and joins. but with a 18 in the hatch back there i eventually just removed a few panels of plastic trim that just would not quiet down. ( i hate rattles ) a good idea is to poke around back there while playing some music to see wich panels and or areas are doing what and making what sounds. then you can devise a plan to make them quiet. sound deadning / foam weatherstriping / double side foam tape / spray foam - use caution with spray foam tho... o also i needed to ajust my latch on the rear glass so that it would hold it down tighter as the hoop latch would rattle in the closing mechanisim - that was hard to get ajusted perfectly so the rear glass would still close and latch fully but be super tight on the weatherstriping as to stop noisy rattles from that....
