Most of the suspension control for the linear in and out motions is actually done by the spider(s), while the surround helps keep the cone in line laterally. Point is, if the subs are overly loose at this point, they probably need more than just surrounds. Have you considered new subs, as you could pick up some pretty comparable (if not better) subs pretty cheap.</p></blockquote><p></p>
