After extensive searching, i've decided to go with the alpine 9853 (yes I know the problems associated with these HU's) and adding a line driver. I feel this is best for me in the sense that I may be able to eliminate some, if not all my system whine, all while being able to boost my pre-out signal. My amp also accomodates signal up to 14 volts, so it should help keep my gains down. I also do understand that I could make my system even more vulnerable to noise due to the fact that i'm adding another component to the chain. With that being said, Recommend me a cheap/quality standalone line driver that will best suit my needs. I've seen the (Audiocontrol MATRIX, and I here PG makes a nice one also.) I don't need anything over the top either, just something that will suit my needs. Thanks in advance, -Stillmatic-
