This can be difficult to get it to sound good, so I went the simple "loud, clear, and good value" route for you. Those Phoenix Gold comps. can take the full 125 per channel that amp can give even though they are only rated at 60w. I would run them down to about 100hz on a 12db/octave slope (if you don't know what this means, research it, but your amp can do that). I would run the Kicker as subs/rear fill up to about 125hz on a 12db/octave slope. This setup will do everything I think you want it to, and run you about $600.00. You may end up paying more since you are in Australia, but you should still come out under $750. Do not skimp on the sound deadener, as that install will make more of a difference in your stereo than anything. I hope this helps, and if you have money left over, use it to get a good HU. One with time alignment, individual speaker eq, and built in crossovers will do wonders for how YOUR stereo sounds in YOUR car. If you don't plan to go active, the Sony CDX-GT705dx is a good option, it even has 4v pre-outs and a 24-bit burr-brown converter all for about $100.00 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-SONY-CDX-GT705DX-CD-MP3-WMA-IN-DASH-CAR-RADIO_W0QQitemZ160217383025QQihZ006QQcategoryZ39753QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem )

[QUOTE="John Pionke, post: 4182740, member: 586350"] You're not going to get much help asking questions like you did. First, most people would tell you to ditch the rear fill as you shouldn't be able to hear it anyway. Second, saying "you want rear speakers", "quality but not quantity", and "more SPL than SQ" don't exactly jive together.
