Hello, First off I have been out of the car audio loop for some time now and was needing some advice as to what is out there for my possible setup. I have a 09 charger with the stock sound system in it but it does have the cutout for the subwoofer in the rear deck. Not sure who is familiar with this but the hole is big enough for a 8" sub. There is a carpeted piece under the deck in the trunk so you cannot see the bottom of the deck. I am curious to know what are some good/ decent choices for the sub in an IB setup. I do have the rear folding seats so i don't know how big a factor that will play into this - might have to change my mind. I am also open to the idea of squeezing a 10" up there instead, don't have much experience with 8's so I don't know what to expect from this. I do not have anything yet but will most likely get a mono amp pushing 200 - 300w rms for the 1 sub. I also plan on using a deadening material on the deck to help with vibrations and to seal it. Open for any ideas and / or suggestions out there especially if you have some experience with this car. Also I do have some experience making fiberglass enclosures so I might also go that route and make something to fit up there. I am really looking to avoid putting a box in the trunk and would prefer to use the space available up in the deck instead.
