[QUOTE="PhatTonyDeMarco, post: 944952, member: 560787"] Well I am trying to remove my rear deck speakers. They are stock, and blown, so I am just going to take them out and leave the holes (with grills intacts) for ports from my trunk, until I get some money for something decent to replace the stock 6 x 9s. So my question is, has any one had experience removing rear deck speakers on a 1998 Buick, (they are relatively the same from '92-current.) I have tried to remove them from the trunk, but the screws are not exposed. I have tried to pop off the grill from the inside of the car, and they are held in place by two bolts on one side, and the other sides of clips. I tried to just just the sides out that are clipped, but then the side bolted in began to tear from the deck, (the bolts are not removable from the inside of the car.) From what I could see when I partially had the grill removed, the speakers are screwed in from the top (under the grill.) I need to know how to remove the grill... Do I need to remove my rear deck? That seems like way too much work to get two speakers out, so there must be an easier way. Anyone know?...
