I would&#039;ve assumed that running at 2 ohms will give a cleaner signal but I&#039;m also afraid that it will tax the vehicle&#039;s stock alternator more heavily. I don&#039;t know much about 12v electronics which is why I&#039;m here to defer to your superior knowledge. What are your thoughts?3. Again, the goal is quality reproduction 99% of the time (The amp&#039;s gain will be set modestly, and I&#039;m looking for tight, crisp, fast performance, I want to avoid sloppy, resonating boomy subwoofer bass at all costs). I will have the occasional *turn-up* session where I make the sub do some real work (and expect it to be loud for a few minutes) which is why I&#039;m considering the IDMAX instead of the Q. That being said, Ported or sealed and for which version of the IDMAX12 (V3 or V4)?Your help is greatly appreciated!
