The ED dosent get as loud or quite as clean but very good sub for the person who wants quality sound for a budget and not looking for MAD bass still enough for the standard person though. I loved my Adire audio tempests too if you can find something that makes the power at the 4 ohm it wants. 400 watts dosent seem like alot till you need it at 4 ohm. The tempests are amazingly loud I think for the wattage you need to give them 200 watts will make it sound good 400 will bring it to life it is the box size that will kill you though.

I think the little companys are just one of those things you need to experence to understand.
MY Re 15 is the first sub that I have owned that I can say it plays too low half the time lol I have it in a 4.5 cube box tune dot 33 hz it dosen't go high enough right now new box for my jeep grand cherokee will be 4 cubes and 40hz tone in a crx box should make a difrence. Ohh also running a US 1000x to it right now going to have a US 2000x soon as I can afored to get electrical system upgraded. I love my XXX I wanted to get the XXX comp set but after thinking about it seems to me that the high excursion midbass driver wouldn't be as usefull for me unless I got a 18 that would have problems going high enough. I am going to go with the dyna 240gts now though. I love both RE and ED I have had a 15" A series and my XXX 15. The ED dosent get as loud or quite as clean but very good sub for the person who wants quality sound for a budget and not looking for MAD bass still enough for the standard person though. The XXX takes the power of my 1000x and laughes at it as to where the A series strugles with it some times too. I think the little companys are just one of those things you need to experence to understand.
