Hi all... I just bought the KENWOOD KDCW5031Y CD/MP3 radio for my car. It works more or less all right, I got it to scan most of the local RDS stations in my area, but the one I want most (classical music!) won't register on the RDS, it only displays the numeric band number, and the "RDS" warning just keeps blinking without displaying the station name. I know the station has RDS because my previous casette tape displayed the station name. The vendor says it will track this station even if it doesn't display its name, but I don't believe it. How can it know what to track if it doesn't receive the RDS station name. I will try it next week when I have to drive to different areas of the country (where the same station broadcasts on different FM channels) we'll see if it still tracks it without user intervention (as I understand RDS is supposed to do). Is there anything I can do. By the way I am in Israel which uses the European tuner system. thanks for your help.
