I installed in a new head unit not long ago. I noticed my Amp/Sub didn't hit near as hard and the Gain control didn't do as much. No matter how I set it, it just didn't hit has hard. Anyway I think I pushed my Amp/Sub to much b/c a few weeks later my Subs surround blew.. Could a low RCA output voltage cause any of these problems? My Head unit..Love this thing https://avinusa.com/avin-universal-avant2-full-android-gps-navigation-system.html Would I be better off running a LOC or a Booster like these? Rockford Fosgate RF-BLD 2-Channel Balanced Line Driver Pre-Amp Line Drivers One more issue. I was downloading and updating software the Head unit. A Couple of times when Restarting it to save the settings. My Sub would just get a massive spike in Volume when shutting off. It only did that when I had to do a Hard reset.. Just normal shutting the car off was fine... Could that have blew my Sub?
