I have a Clarion headunit (don't know which model though). I came from an Audiobahn head that had 4 RCA's for the front and 1 subwoofer output RCA. The Clarion now has 2 front and 2 rear RCA's but no sub RCA. I ran all 4 to the 4 channel and listened. Then I ran the front 2 to the 4 channel and split them at the amp and ran the rear 2 to the sub amp but it doesn't sound as loud. Here is my questions... 1) How do you suggest I run them? 2) Is is normal for it to sould lower volume when the RCA's are split like that? (It seemed so to me) 3) Is it best to split behind the head unit or at the amps?
