I went earlier in the week to pick up just standard junk 2x4's 8 foot for a workbench in the basement. Last year even at a small lumber place I paid 3.29 for treated now treated up here is almost 11 bucks a 2x4. Standard is 7.25 a 2x4 meanwhile I am surrounded by lumber mills, thousands upon thousands of acres not like the lumber is traveling all that far. A buddy of mine in Sarasota said treated 2x4's are around 20-25 bucks a piece and people are lining up to buy them as soon as they put them out. Freaking crazy!</p></blockquote><p></p>
