YOu will need one that's pretty big, at least a foot tall and 10" wide at the entrance to the trap. Set the trap, and toss marshmallows (fresh ones work good) or any other foodstuffs like a ball of peanut butter or an old porkchop or something. They will go inside the trap and trip the trigger and it will be trapped inside. At this point kill the animal or relocate it.I kill them and then either bury them or throw them across the road inthe neighbors corn feild, if you are in the city, just put it in the trash. If you keep catching small dogs or cats, use marshmallows, dogs and cats don't like them but raccoons do.</blockquote>
