Message: <blockquote data-quote="justsayk" data-source="post: 845903" data-attributes="member: 551733"><p>I currently go to school in northern Idaho, and at my school, there is hardly any diversity.  The thing that bothers me a lot is that it seems like the the Black people almost never hang out with other races, and the Asians hang out with only Asians, and so on and so on.  It is kind of sad to see that minorities seem affraid to venture out of their racial groups.  But then again, if you are black at my school it is assumed that you play a sport for the university.  If you are any other race, it is assumed that you don't speak english.  There is also plenty of anti-black sentiment lingering around the area as well.  It is tough to meet so many cool people otherwise that still have something against black people, when most of them haven't even met a black person.</p></blockquote><p></p>
