Man, that has nothing to do with it. She knows what should be coming to her for carrying her kids' through existence for decades but gets lip instead of acknowledgement and compassion. I'm 33 and have 2 younger brothers and we all feel bad now about some of the crap we put our mom through. When you get older, especially after you have a family of your own, you'll know what I'm talking about. Smart-as$ kids thinking they have it all figured out, when they've barely scratched the surface of reality, talkin' smack to the people they should be showing utmost respect to for the sacrifices they've made for that sacred existence... Parents say some evil shit out of frustration some times, believe me, I've heard, seen, and felt much worse than you can imagine, but the kids punk as$es pretty much push them to that point (I was one of them, and at least have the conciousness to acknowledge it -- do you?). It may feel all tough and shit, and boost your insecure little ego to pick on someone who's proven to love you enough to eat it, to talk back to mom and piss on her decades of carrying your sorry as$, but what you should be doing is making her a mug of hot tea with honey -- don't ask if she wants it, just do it and give it to her. Then, ask if she's feeling chills and bring the space heater near her, if she is. See if she's craving for something like ice cream or anything else that'll make her feel better -- she deserves it, and it sucks to feel like crap in a place where nobody else seems to care. The minescule little experiences in your short life barely add up to a week of burden for a parent, especially of multiple kids. Give her a f'ing break. You and your bro' know that statement she made isn't literal -- read between the lines -- she's saying "THIS SUCKS"... and it does.
