For starters though, without knowing too much about what you want, i can tell you that if you are competing then you will most likely want to have a ported box (vs sealed) as they are louder. I may also suggest that you have a switchable port on it...I say this because while competing you usually have your box tuned higher ( around 50Hz or so), but for daily driving and listening pleasure, many enjoy a lower tuning frequency (around 30Hz).
