I know the last time my controller battery completely died it wouldn't turn on at all even when plugged in so I gave it a 4 hour charge and everything worked fine. If that doesn't work go buy one at Wal Mart and try it out and if it work's return the broken controller for a refund lol.</p></blockquote><p></p>
