Getting ready to do a 4th order build in a month or 2. I have 2 questions. 1. Is it better to have the speakers in the same space in the sealed section or have a wall in the center separating the 2. A wall would add support from flexing, and maybe sound/work better? 2. Square or circle port? My first enclosures where square and they where more vibrate, if that makes any sense. where my circle port was more blaaarrrhh! Which from what ive read as long as there tuned the same shouldnt make a difference, the difference between the square and circle ported enclosures i made is the circle was not sectioned, each speaker could see each other, all sharing the same air. Whereas the square ported boxes where like your standard ported boxes each having there own ported compartment. So this kinda plays into the first question, would a wall in the center, separating my 4 12s, add to the vibrating? Ive done a ton of searching and i cant find answers. Thankyou! The 4th order is for x4 12inch earthquakes (TREMOR-X124). Spare me the talk of 4th order being a waste of time for such ****** subs, heard it a few dozen times. lol.
