[QUOTE="cocoleveo7686, post: 3321667, member: 580030"] i currently upgraded my amp to a hifonics bxi2006d, i was running 4 gauge wire before to the previous amp, i was going to get 0 gauge but my local car audio store told me to just run another line of 4 gauge and a fuse for each wire. Now my questions are, when i have the car running and playing on almost 3/4 volume my voltage goes to about 12.2-12.5, i have a 110A alternator and the grounds done out of the big 3, havent done the positive to alternator yet, if i switch out the 2 4 gauge wires with 0 gauge, would that help alot? is it even worth it? i know i probably need to get a bigger alternator, but money is tight right now, i was just wondering if it would make my amp see alot more voltage thanks!
