They are great overall components but through persoal experience as well as through research I've found that they are not very good speakers for running active and that at best you can obtain the same sound as you get from the passive speakers. I'm not sure why, but that is just how these are. The tweeters are pretty high for my liking (I like very laid back, relaxed, and smooth) but I've managed to EQ them out to a point where I can live with them. Overall I'd recommend them for the price and they are very worth while for the price and worth a shot.</p></blockquote><p></p>
